This Thursday, April 29, is the 17th annual Dining Out For Life event. Throughout the Puget Sound, 150 restaurants will donate 30% of each diner’s bill to support Lifelong AIDS Alliance. Participating Wallingford restaurants are Blue Star Café, Djan’s Dining, Kabul, Tutta Bella, and Rusty Pelican Cafe. Lifelong AIDS Alliance said in a press release:

Expect Goldie’s Sports Bar to reopen by June 1 with new owners, a makeover, and its old name: The Iron Bull. New proprietors Bernie McGuire and Gerald Simonsen opened the Rat and Raven in the U District in August 2009.
