The 46th Street Mural painting will begin this Saturday, and you’re invited to help! First up: the less-than-artistic but necessary work of priming will happen June 13-15.
The painting of Todd Lown’s winning design, which will adorn the portal between Fremont and Wallingford, begins in July, and volunteers are welcome to help out on Saturday the 17th. If you want to volunteer to paint during the week, send an email to 46thStreetMural@gmail.com.

You can sign up here for a priming/painting slot or send email to 46thStreetMural@gmail.com. Be sure to follow updates on the 46th Street Mural Project’s Facebook page for the very latest information.
It is not really clear when volunteers are needed. Looks like priming is this weekend followed by painting July 17?
Exactly right — priming begins this Sunday. You can follow any updates on the 46th Street Mural and how best to help on their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Seattle-WA/46th-Street-Mural-Project/
