From October 12 -16, the Wallingford Center is offering a Fall Showcase to share how their merchandise can fit into their customers’ lifestyles. Fifteen retailers will offer everything from fashion shows to knitting lessons.
A few of the offers from retailers:
- Gourmands can try specially selected dishes from a seasonal menu at Chutney’s Bistro.
- In their first “how to” video, especially produced for Fall Showcase, Trophy Cupcakes and Party shares tips on planning a party-to-remember.
- Pharmaca will demonstrate the benefits of facial massage with mini facials on Saturday, October 15 from 1-4 by appointment.
- Newcomer to the Center, Fair Trade Winds, will show how to dress the tabletop with fall’s textures and colors.
“Fall Showcase gives customers a chance to pick up lots of ideas with advice and demonstrations from each merchant during this five day event. The timing couldn’t be better now that the cool weather has arrived,” shared Judy Ayers, owner of 4 Your Eyes Only Optical and the president of the merchants association.
