Tomorrow night (Friday, October 7), Tutta Bella’s Neapolitan Pizzerias in Seattle will be donating 15 percent of all sales to the Karen Mullen Cancer Foundation to fund breast cancer research. The campaign is part of a national “Slice of Hope” fundraiser, and all three Seattle Tutta Bellas will be participating.
“Slice of Hope” started in Seattle, and is named after Karen Mullen, a mother from Seattle who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2006. She died in 2010. Her husband, Garrett Mullen co-founded the foundation with the editor-in-chief of the magazine “Pizza Today,” Jeremy White. Together, the two started the “Slice of Hope” campaign.
Tutta Bella’s four area restaurants in Stone Way (4411 Stone Way N.), Columbia City, Westlake and Issaquah will join Farrelli’s Wood Fire Pizza and Pied Piper Pizza in Vancouver, Washington, and Pie@Trio’s Pizzeria in Longview.
Support cancer causes that need money. End the sham that is breast cancer giving.
Like Bella I'm so pleased and you might be pleased to know that the integrity of the Breast Cancer Campaign is still intact… shock horror, the model featured was a real-life cancer victim. @ELEZABETH
