Seattle’s schools are about to get a big boost to their nutrition and P.E. classes. The Seattle Public School District is one of 76 recipients nationwide to be awarded the Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP) from the U.S. Department of Education. Seattle schools will receive $650,698 to develop and expand physical education and nutrition education programs throughout the District.
The grants are intended to help schools and community-based programs, “initiate, expand, or enhance physical education and nutrition education programs, including after-school programs, for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.” The Department of Education is awarding more than $35 million to schools and community organizations nationwide. The Seattle Public School District is one of six schools or community groups to receive the award in Washington state. For more information about the grant, visit the Carol M. White PEP site.

Health is really very important factor which should be concern carefully by every one and heartburn may be dangerous. According to me it is good idea to start such program in schools that includes healthy and nutrition food.
