More than 2,000 people are expected to come out for the annual Wallingford Street Fair and Kiddies Parade on Saturday.

Drill teams, marching bands and kids (lots and lots of kids!) take part in the parade, which starts at 11 a.m. The parade route goes down North 45th from Corliss to Woodlawn, then heads south on Woodlawn to North 43rd.
Street. . If you’re a participant, here is staging information from you.

The Street Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wallingford Ave with food vendors, kiddie games and activities (last year there was a bouncy slide and pony rides.)

If you’re not attending the event, a heads-up that 45th will be closed from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Wallingford Ave will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
