Did you see three jets flying low and fast over Green Lake and Wallingford today around 4 p.m.? KING-5 found out from Kim Martin at the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station that they were airborne for a photo opportunity:

Photographers were getting shots of the EA-6B Prowler, and two EA-18G Growlers with Pacific Northwest scenery in them for the Navy.

The jets are painted in World War II themes to celebrate the centennial of naval aviation, said Martin.

Our sister site My Green Lake has some excellent photos of the planes over Green Lake Park.
