With the holidays behind us and spring ahead, we know that many Wallingfordians’ thoughts turn to the garden and how they can squeeze a few more rows of tomatoes in this year or begin to turn their yard into a living pantry. Or perhaps this is the year you’ll begin to raise chickens or bees?

Lucky for us, the city’s finest resource for growing your own food is right here in Wallingford — Seattle Tilth. Their 2011 classes have begun, but there’s still plenty of time to lay down a foundation of knowledge before spring arrives. These are the classes that Tilth’s Wallingford location offers over the next couple of months. See the website to find full information about these classes and others, including classes in Southeast and Southwest Seattle.
