Kids: Design Wallingford Center's Halloween pins

This year, several Wallingford Center businesses are teaming up with www.greenhalloween.org (more on this soon) to think outside the traditional Halloween huge bag of candy.

The Wallingford Center Merchants Association came up with this idea — to replace some of the candy with pins designed by kids. They last a lot longer and don’t give you cavities. Winners will see their designs on pins distributed on Halloween and $10 Wally Dollars (valid at Wallingford Center businesses only).

How to participate:

Pick up an entry form. Available at Wallingford Center or from our website.

Have your child draw his/her design in the circle. FYI – Color pencils and markers will reproduce the best.

Return the drawing to us:

• You can scan and email to: wcmaseattle@aol.com. All email entries will be confirmed. PDF or JPEG files preferred.

• Drop it off at one of the following stores: Paron’s Closet, Mud Puddle Photography, Crackerjack or 4 Your Eyes Only Optical.

• Mail it to: Wallingford Center, c/o 4 Your Eyes Only Optical, 1815 N 45th St. #211, Seattle, WA 98103

Entries must be received by October 10th to be eligible. Five designs will be chosen, made into pins and distributed at our annual Trick or Treat event at Wallingford Center on Sunday October 31st from 3 – 5 pm. Come trick or treat and find out whose designs we picked!
