How should Wallingford change and grow?

Allison Hogue, who’s on the Wallingford Community Council, asked us to pass along this call for questions for next week’s monthly council meeting. Lyle Bicknell from Seattle’s Department of Planning and Development will be there to discuss city planning and development initiatives that may affect the Wallingford neighborhood. The council wants to know what neighbors are interested in.

The topics may be project specific (such as a specific rezone or development proposal in the neighborhood) or may be broader in range (say, addressing the Multifamily Code update or the vacant lot pilot project) or even policy based (such as how to create walkable, sustainable, vibrant communities and neighborhoods).

The meeting will be on Wednesday, September 1, at 7-9 in room 202 of the Good Shepherd Center.

Feel free to post your questions in the comments or on our Facebook page or email them to us at tips@mywallingford.com
