It looks like the timing will be perfect. Just as the weather cools down later this week, the season will end for the Wallingford Playfield wading pool on August 20.
The wading pool will be open this final week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from noon to 7pm. As you may remember, the Wallingford pool survived a round of budget cuts this year but operated under scaled back hours.
