If your child(ren) are likely to attend the new McDonald Elementary School this fall, the PTA steering committee would like to get just a bit of information to start building the school community. Carolyn Cunningham, who has a kindergartener starting at McDonald in the fall and is on the PTA steering committee and the design team, asked us to post this information:

We realize some of you haven’t finalized your decision yet, if you are highly likely or a sure bet, please let us know so we can begin to establish a community of families. You can let us know later if your status changes.

We who’ve been on the steering committee and design teams are getting very excited about McDonald. Principal Grinager has proven her stuff many times over. She is highly committed to creating a top quality school and very demanding in the quality of the new teachers. Announcements on the terrific incoming teachers will be made soon.

Let’s find out who’s in, so we can build community and organize fun events. Please click here to answer the brief survey.

The first McDonald PTA meeting is next Monday, June 7, at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln High School (4400 Interlake Ave N) library.

On Tuesday, June 15, at 6:30 p.m. will be a Meet & Greet with new McDonald Elementary teachers, at the McDonald School Playground (N. 54th St./Latona).
