Someone who’s waging a one-man war on signs in Wallingford has taken down “a ton” of yard signs posted along N. 45th St. that advertise tonight’s Art Walk and Sunday’s Garden Tour, we just heard from Wallingford Chamber of Commerce president Kara Ceriello.
The man took the signs to the Wallingford Neighborhood Office, where he argued with Director Janet Stillman then left. Stillman described the man as 60ish, large, with a distinctive grey military brush cut. He was wearing a navy blue rainjacket with a gold star on the shoulder.
Ceriello is looking for volunteers now to get the signs back in place as soon as possible (ideally, today). If you have the time to help out, stop by Not a Number (1905 N. 45th St.) or call 784-0965.
