Doesn’t a beer sound great on a warm sunny afternoon? This week that brew can be a little more special — Seattle Beer Week kicked off yesterday, and breweries and bars all around town are joining in the celebration.
Wallingford’s specialty beer shop Bottleworks (1710 N 45th St.) celebrates — nay, reveres — the hoppy beverage every day, and is one of the sponsors of Seattle Beer Week. From now until May 23, it will host brewers every evening; stop by to chat and sample a brew or two.
Also participating in Beer Week is Elysian Tangletown, which will host a five-course beer dinner with Sam Calagione from Dogfish Head and Elysian’s Dick Cantwell on May 17.
