Last Thursday was the kickoff event for the Mosaic Coffeehouse Den redesign project. Amy Woidtke, one of the organizers, sent us a report on the gathering.
They had 53 attendees and raised $697 of the $3000-$4000 needed for the project. The group has acquired paint and would like to have as many other items as possible donated (see list below). Here’s a sketch of the redesign, by Noel Costumbrado.
Still needed for the redesign are:
- 4 sets of extra-long curtains, or fabric for them
- 4 sets of curtain hardware
- Floor lamps and overhead lighting, non-flourescent
- A few arm chairs
- Throw pillows
- Art framing
- Projector screen, possibly
- Carpeting
- Indoor plants, mostly tall ones
- Track lighting
No product to donate but want to give some money? The Mosaic site is accepting donations.
Woidtke said that May will be devoted to product procurement; late May and June will see design installation; and in July there will be an unveiling party for the beautified Den.
