Looks like it’ll be a lovely night to get out and see some live music. Wallingford musician Greg Sinibaldi let us know that his band Goat will open tonight for the Cuong Vu Quartet at the Chapel Performance Space in the Good Shepherd Center, as part of IMPfest.

Goat describes its music thusly:

With a unique arsenal of loops and electronic gadgetry combined with woodwinds, electric guitar and drumset, Goat embarks on a process that spans elements of rock, jazz and modern classical music.

Cuong Vu is a trumpeter who has performed with David Bowie, Laurie Anderson, Pat Metheny and many others.

The show starts at 7:30. Find much more information at the Improvised Music Project site.
