Looks like Wallingfordians like to be counted, or maybe they just like to not have a census taker come to their door for information. Whichever the case, the participation rate in our area is solidly in the 70-80% range, with the exception of the area that includes the U District. The Seattle average participation rate is 69%. Remember, you have till this Friday, April 16, to mail in your census form. After that, you’ll get a personal visit from a census worker.
