The food world is abuzz this morning with news of which semifinalists made it to the final ballot of the James Beard Foundation’s annual awards. Alas, Rachel Yang of Wallingford’s Joule isn’t on the list of finalists for the Best Northwest Chef.
Had Yang won Best Northwest Chef, that would have given Wallingford restaurants the honor two years in a row. Tilth’s Maria Hines won last year.
