Have an idea for a unique way to discover Wallingford on foot? Mike Ruby, who organizes Wallingford Walks (now in its third year), asked us to put out this call for suggestions and participants:
We are currently planning on 3rd Saturday morning April through September (except June, 2nd Saturday because of Solstice Parade). Anyone who has suggestions or would like to volunteer to lead a walk should leave comments on the Sustainable Wallingford website, Wallingford Walks group: http://greenwallingford.ning.com/group/wallingfordwalks. People who would like to be notified of the walks each month should “join” the group.
Past walks have focused on “green” homes, street trees, Craftsman architecture, and more. Ruby told us the more popular walks will be repeated.
