Parents tour McDonald School (at Lincoln High)

On March 6, parents had the opportunity to tour Lincoln High, which will be the home to McDonald Elementary School during for the next two years while the permanent building at 54th and Latona is renovated. The McDonald School was closed in 1981 and will reopen this year with kindergarten through fifth grades.

McDonald will share the Lincoln space with another new school, Queen Anne Elementary (formerly called Old Hay), while it’s renovated. Students from Hamilton Middle School are at Lincoln now, so parents were left to imagine how an elementary school might look different.

Did you tour the school? Share your impressions in the comments.
