Two car fires in the wee hours of the morning this week were arson, Seattle Fire investigators have determined.
The first car fire occurred at 12:47 a.m. on March 8 in the 4100 block of 11th Ave. NE. The second car fire occurred at 12:12 a.m. on March 9 in the 4200 block of 7th Ave. NE. The second fire also damaged the exterior of an adjacent duplex. As precaution, the fire department says it’s increasing its presence in the area and distributing arson prevention flyers.
