On Saturday, November 5, the Wallingford Community Preparedness Initiative is offering CPR and First Aid training at the Wallingford Community Senior Center at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave. N. Suite 140).
From Kathleen Cromp with the Senior Center:
We want to create a strong base of knowledge & skills across the neighborhood. If you haven’t recently had CPR & First Aid training, please consider taking this course. We’re fortunate to have Joel McCulloch as the course instructor– Joel is a Wallingford neighbor, member of community preparedness steering committee, emergency transport nurse, and certified CPR/First Aid instructor.
The class is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with an optional certification demonstration and testing from 1 – 2:30 p.m. The class costs $35 per person and $5 for the optional certification testing. To register for the class, email register@wallingfordseniorcenters.org or call the center at 206-461-7825.
