You’ll recall that back in February the Cooking Channel shot an episode entitled “Childhood Favorites” of its new show “Unique Sweets” at Trophy Cupcakes’ flagship location in Wallingford Center.
The episode debuted on Sunday, and Trophy has uploaded their segment to YouTube. Calling the shop “a little kid’s dream come true,” pastry experts breathily rhapsodize about Trophy’s elevated take on the humble cupcake. Owner Jennifer Shea says, “Each cupcake is a little canvas for whatever your wildest dreams are.”
You’ll see all your favorite flavors, and Shea shows how she developed a new cupcake: The Thin Mint, based on memories of the beloved Girl Scout cookie.
