Perennial James Beard Award semifinalists Seif Chirchi and Rachel Yang at Joule are once again up for the Best Chef Northwest category in the culinary world’s high honor.
Of the 20 semifinalists in the category, the Joule chefs are among four from Seattle. The others are Mark Fuller (Spring Hill), Ethan Stowell (Staple & Fancy Mercantile), and Jason Stratton (Spinasse).
Chirchi and Yang recently opened their second restaurant, a more casual eatery in Fremont call Revel.
