King County Boys & Girls club (which includes our own Wallingford location) Would like to encourage you to go to their GoFundMe page and help them Kick Boston Boys & Girls Club. Here’s the Details! And, Go SeaHawks!

Boys & Girls Club Bowl II!

To celebrate Super Bowl XLIX, Boys & Girls Clubs of King County  (Greater Seattle) has challenged the Boston-area Boys & Girls Clubs to a fundraising competition to support kids!

The Club that raises the most money by February 3rd will be declared the winner of Boys & Girls Clubs Bowl II. If the Boston Clubs lose, their Club kids and staff have to wear Seahawks Colors for a day. If the Seattle Clubs lose, our King County Boys & Girls Club kids and staff have to wear Patriots Colors for a day. Don’t let the Seattle Club kids wear Patriots Red & Blue!

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is proud to have a strong community partner in the Seattle Seahawks . Since 2006, our YouthForce teen employment program has partnered with the Seahawks to provide more than 800 teens entry-level work experiences as the “Hawk Squad” during home games. Teens develop customer service, communication, team work, leadership, and problem solving skills in the exciting atmosphere of home football games at CenturyLink Stadium.

Our Club members have also been recognized in the Seahawks Legion of Youth.

No matter the winner of the BGC Bowl II, all of our Club kids are the winners. Your donation will help the more than 17,000 youth and teens Boys & Girls Clubs of King County serves each year. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
