It may not feel like picnic weather yet, but rain or shine, Izilla Toys is launching its monthly Family Picnic Party tonight. Pack your parka with that picnic dinner, and head over to Wallingford Center’s west patio (right by Pharmaca) at 5:30 for a bubble show by Richard Twist.
After the bubble show, Izilla will host face painting and balloon twisting, plus you can enter to win a Wallingford Center Merchant raffle basket. The fun will last till 8 p.m.

We’re celebrating summer by hosting monthly parties in and around our Wallingford Center shop. Pack a blanket and a picnic dinner (or bring some delicious Chutney’s takeout) and soak up some evening sun on Wallingford Center’s beautiful west-facing patios. One Thursday evening a month from 5:30 to 8 pm we will bring in an awesome children’s entertainer or put on some super fun activity. Then, when the dinner entertainment is over, come inside for face painting, balloon tying or lots of other awesome activities. There will also Wallingford Center Merchant deals, discounts, and raffles! \
In May we are proud to present the Bubble Stylings of Richard Twist. You’ll be amazed by the gigantic bubbles that Richard can make with his secret “Mega Bubble Mix”!
After his show, Richard will be inside twisting amazing balloon creations. You may have gotten a sneak peek of his balloon artistry during our Easter event. If you’ve got a balloon creation vision Richard can bring it to life!
Professional Face Painter Ryan Alley will also be in attendance to paint your face or fancify you with glitter tattoos. You want to look like a butterfly, superhero, flower fairy, striking snake? You got it, Ryan can make it happen in a jiffy!
And don’t forget to enter to win a basket full of goodies and gift certificates from Wallingford Center Merchants. We’ll have a different basket of prizes at each of our Picnic Party events!
