If the streets of Wallingford looked a little cleaner today, you can thank the volunteers who participated Saturday in “Operation Beautification Wallingford.” Chamber of Commerce vice president Greg Martin (from School of Oom Yung Doe) ran the event and hauled away the 200 pounds of garbage that the orange-vested volunteers plucked from the neighborhood’s sidewalks, planting beds and gutters.
