Seattle Public Utilities has just released the seven initial design concepts for the new North Transfer Station in Wallingford. You’ll have the chance to comment on the designs at a public meeting on September 14 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Institute for Systems Biology at 837 N. 34th Street.
SPU says the current station on North 34th Street is nearing the end of its life. The new station will better control noise and odors, and streamline recycling and transfer operations. You can look over all seven designs here.

I think you may have a typo in that address — I believe the ISB building is actually along 34th St., not 44th St. Thanks for the info about the proposed new transfer station!
Thank you! We updated the post with the correct address on 34th.
Somewhat off-topic, but why is it that images are always so uselessly small on this blog, and seemingly all NDM blogs? I can't hardly read a thing on that site plan. As usual, it links to an image page, which holds the promise of a larger image, but in this case the image there is actually SMALLER than on the article page! Then, the image on that page does link to the raw JPG, but it turns out to be the same size as the one I started with. So I just wasted two clicks and I still haven't found what I'm looking for.
Would it really kill your budget to host at least, say, 1024 x whatever versions of every image you post (where available)?
I'm oldschool…still call it a garbage dump
