Burglars got away with some items from a Wallingford home, but it looks like they were planning to take a lot more. This past Thursday (7/15), a home was broken into in the 4300 block of Bagley Ave N while the residents were at work. The thieves got in by using a stool to push up a bedroom window that had been left partially open. Once inside, they got away with two jewelry boxes and a digital camera. The police report says a duffel bag and a suitcase were also left on the bed as if the thieves were planning to fill it with stolen property. Police were able to take a shoe impression that one of the burglars left behind.
